It may be the color offerings that make me feel this way though. Thank God they released not one, but two models in Candy Apple Red.
Same here. Nothing appealing to me at all. I'd rather have a VM JM/Jag/Mustang than any of these.

No short scales, not even the Mustang, not interested

I kinda dig the baritone, although I'm baffled why they insist on putting those godawful Strat jacks on offset bodies. It never looked good. It's never going to look good.

It is a very curious (and cheap!) guitar. I am guessing it is out there to compete with super budget offerings from the likes of Thomann and Jay Turser etc...

Squier isn't playing to their strengths like they were with the VM & CVibe models.
These guitars could be great, but when I saw that Mustang it reminded me of those dumb show master guitars
like someone said. That really was a bad era !

2017 was my year to snag a Jarman Musuar at some point-
Beautiful paint with matching headstock and bridge space to put a hum-size
GFS goldfoil (which are WONDERFUL pickups).

Now I might miss out on a Jarman but I can get a stoptail JM in CAR?
Ok I guess...

I always hack these things and swap parts anyway. Better to have these models to Frankenstein with than
for Squier to go quiet and just stick to bullet Teles/Strats.

I have one of those too, must be why I like the mustang :w00t:

Not gonna pull the trigger though, I'm happy with my players and I have enough projects- for now ;)

Found a site talking about these after searching for the baritone. Not much more official info, but the pics are higher resolution.

The only differences between the "Blackout" baritone and the Antigua model I notice (besides the obvious body/hardware color change) is the matching headstock and the non-bound neck. Bridge seems to be the same, just painted black.

I'm new to guitars and Fender gear in general, so please don't take offense, but why is this bad looking? Are Strat jacks inferior? (Serious question — I don't really know) To someone that's not at all immersed in Fender history, it looks great to me! It doesn't seem to stick out aesthetically besides the fact that the jack (and the scale) is different from the other offsets. Is this more like a "Glorious Offset Master Race Looks Down Upon Plebeian Stratocaster Parts" kind of thing? :)

Of course it is. The Offset agenda is real.

But really, they look bad to me because they feel aesthetically redundant as the pickguard's bottom horn (where the controls are) and Strat jacks look similar in shape. That's a shit description of my grievances with Strat jacks, but yeah, there is a real reason why I don't like them. I don't like them on Strats either.

Functionally speaking, there isn't anything wrong with them obviously.

These have started going up on the PMT website, looks like they're covering all of the price points.

It looks like @jarman was right about Squier ending the signature lines, which, if correct, is terrible news. I would have loved another Musuar or a JMJM in whatever new color Squier would offer up.

I really don't mind any of these tbh. It just seems like they are going back to making Squiers like they did before the VM offset range. The HH JM reminds me of the full scale Jagmasters (which is one of my favourites). I couldn't care less for the Jarman guitar, I would be very happy if I never saw one of those ugly things ever again.

Is it me or does it seem like the UK get all the new gear first?! It happened with the new fender mustangs and duo sonic, why is that?!
