Squier 2020 line

Could this have been intended for the summer show? When Guitar Center originally published the Paranormal info the guitars all had June release dates. Maybe we'll see more in a few months.

For comparison, the Offset Series was originally announced at a Summer NAMM and they shipped in October. Fender does that once in a while. Since Squier has had issues even getting the CV Mustang Bass out their door (orig. Sept, now March) June sounds doable if announced 1st Qtr. Also lets them rack up pre-sales and dealer orders so they're not unnecessarily short on popular models. All conjecture, of course.

Anyone seen anything else about the Paranormal line? I’ve not seen any other retailer information for anything from NAMM

The big tip off on them not being announced at NAMM is they weren't displayed at NAMM. They weren't in the Fender booth, which means they have something else up their sleeve. And Guitar Center already had the pix and specs loaded and ready to go. I bet all the big online dealers are ready to go. Since the cat's out of the bag maybe someone could just call Fender and ask? 1 (800) 856-9801

The expected ship date is in June. If I'm remembering correctly, June 20th. The only somewhat "detailed" info I was able to get was on the supersonic (apparently none of the other models have product information uploaded beyond price and picture etc):

neck shape: soft D
scale length: 24"
neck finish: gloss
number of frets: 22
inlays: abalone dot
nut width: 1.5in (38.1mm) ---this makes no sense to me
pickups: "proprietary open coil humbucker"

The Fiesta Red Tele with JM pickups is everything I ever wanted in a guitar. Are these even real? I recall a similar leak last year with the shell pink Classic Vibe Jaguars, but all this time later I don't think these guitars exist.

This is one of the Squier Paranormal Series that was posted on GC's site and then pulled because they weren't announcing them until after NAMM.....sometime. Head back to page 4 of this thread for the pictures. They're totally real.

As for the Shell Pink CV 70s Jaguar it was announced in Sept and then postponed until early this year sometime. In the meantime you can click this link and stare at a large image of it on Fender's site:

Oh this is awesome - thank you. I've been trying to find the page for this specific model. Tried wayback machine but alas I'm not the most tech savvy dude.

Most were $399 but a few like the Super Sonic were $350. I think the Toronado was, too.
