Just noticed some new FSR Jaguars at Kinko - Black with matching headstock and Inca Silver with matching headstock. That Inca silver one looks amazing :?
Yeah they deserve some pictures. Looks like stock AV65 pickups and mustang bridge.

:? :? :?

Around £1k as well (plus imports etc.) probably puts it at a similar price to the Vintera II!

Absolutely stunning guitar that.

If I didn’t snag the Sherwood Green one when I saw it in person then I would be very interested in the Silver.

I do really like the 7.25” neck and medium jumbo frets though but
having 2 exact spec guitars (I put in PV65s) would probably bug me.

Are there any non-routing suggestions to make a potential duplicate spec more different?

I plan to put drop-in lipstick pickups from Novak in one of mine! Not the exact specs though... I have a non-FSR B&B 9.5" radius (sunburst sent to be refinished), and a FSR D&B 7.25" radius sherwood green one that I'll keep mostly stock.

I need to come up with a reason (and space) for the inca silver one though... or if they come out with a charcoal frost metallic one... here's hoping for 2024!

Just took a look at the Novak lipsticks and didn’t know that unlike normal Lipsticks they fit the jag pickguards with no gaps perfectly. Am imagining they would look rather nice on the Inca silver with a pearloid guard, or a totally black and chrome look on the black one with black guard 🤤

Am guessing there might be a chance that Kinko will be releasing Jazzmasters in these two colours too since lately their FSR releases have come in “pairs”.

It's alder according to the spec sheet.

The Inca ones have either been taken down or probably all snapped up and possibly en route to the “usual” MIJ specialist sellers. Am taking a wild guess of US$2500 asking price since a new matching headstock Inca Jag is rare AF 🤔

I got one of the inca silver ones, and I'm not a dealer! Just an end user.

They posted 5x of the inca silver ones, I emailed them shortly after they were posted and I had my pick of them at that time. Seems like they added them to the site in the very early morning Japan time. Kinkos opens at noon, but Kaz had put mine on hold before then.

More inca ones are coming Dec 4th, so just email Kaz right away after they are posted, and you'll get one. You're probably competing mostly with "dealers" like MM who just want to rip people off.

Thanks for the info but actually not really serious about buying because am still “recovering” from my Sherwood Green Jag purchase and they have the exact same specs (a Kinko JM version of the Inca might tempt though  ).

But anyway I was curious and saw like 4-5 of the Incas too, then checked back shortly after and all were gone, which I thought was strange since usually it takes a few days or weeks, or in the case of the recent Sonic Blues, quite a while longer.

Just saw a post by GSG, they’ve apparently been “allocated a few”, so either they’re good friends with Kinko and have been “pre-allocated” a few, or they’ve  ‘ed the stock posted up.

My guess of US$2500 wasn’t far off though - they’re asking for roughly US$2350.

They’re also doing the M&M thing too were they don’t mention the FSR shop’s name so people that don’t know better wont go direct to the source ;D

The reason why I moved so quick on the incas, is because the Sherwood ones were sold out in 1-2 days, and I missed out.

With current exchange rates and fees, the shop you mentioned is asking for a ~$1000 premium over the Kinko's price. Oof.

Good move on your part! I think I saw an Inca or Black at 3.5kg and had to immediately take a walk outside to avoid making a reckless decision ;D

Kinko had a B-stock of the D+B Sherwood Jazzmaster up earlier this morning that I was agonizing over. It had some minor dings and a small binding flaw, but was under 8lbs, and the price was a hair over $1K. I had just figured out a way to justify it. Then, it was gone.

Meanwhile, in my mind, I had already started to part-out the Sherwood-ish JM I already have (because it doesn't have D+B, or matching headstock).

I snagged one of the Sonic Blue Traditional 60’s Jaguar FSR for $1285 delivered here in Hawaii. Hopefully it’ll be here soon. Stuck at LAX for the past few days but has cleared customs!! Great time to buy as the yen to dollar is favorable. Kinko sent me 25 high def pics and a 3 minute video. Great customer service.
