Late to the party, but here are my Squier offsets. No interesting mods yet.

Here's mine. Love it so far. Makes me want an AVRI someday though.

A bigger version of my avatar. It would seem Oig and I have similar taste in pickguards.

It took 19 months but I finally got around to installing a Mustang style bridge. Threw some Tele Deluxe style knobs on there while I was at it.

A lot of black, I know. I really like tuxedo strats though, that was the idea. Tuxedo jazzer. The switches would be white but, the idea to do the RC white came a bit later and I didn't think I could pull off painting the switch without rewiring which, I just did not want to do. That switch is a bit fried. So, I just also made the toggle switch black. It works for now. I'll just buy a white switch and re do some of the wiring later.

Wife bought this for me for Christmas, but didn't arrive until this past Monday. Loving the hell out of it, though.
I've got it tuned to drop A, and have no plans to mod or upgrade it, save the nut which I'll be swapping out for a brass piece. With the exception of the original low E being floppy as all get out , I haven't had any of the issues described by others- the finish and fit are perfect, frets are all nice and worked properly, doesn't need a shim (surprisingly), and the pickups/ electronics are all in perfect working order. Actually, I haven't even had to adjust anything from the box. Just slapped some thinner strings on it and have been rocking it since.

Here's my Squier VM Jaguar. I really like the looks of the Johnny Marr Jaguar, so I was going for that kind of vibe. I upgraded the knobs and term and sanded the headstock in the hopes of painting it white but got scared off by how difficult it would be to match the body color.
Waiting on Antiquity II pickup for the neck position and a Mustang bridge. The stock pickups are just way too muddy for my tastes. I really hope the Antiquity II pickup will clear it up and add some icepick to the sound.

NGD!
put a jazzmaster pickup in the middle, rewired and new knobs.
the rhythm circuit is now the strangle circuit and each of the lower selector switches turns corresponding pickup on/off

Love it! Now it just needs a matching headstock and custom logo. ;D
