I like both but i prefer the look of Jazzmasters but hate (just prefer 24'') 25.1/2'' scales,so i use Jaguars wired as Jazzmasters and it actually sounds damn close.
I like the big pickups and one piece gaurds more than the claw pickups and chrome control plates on a Jag,allthough i still luv my Jaguar and wouldnt trade it for the world.This i why i want a 24'' JazzmasterXJaguar but I'll have to get used to 25.1/2" as I'm getting my 1st Jazzmaster next year

I'd love to have a 25.5 scale jag. I prefer the extra chrome plates. In fact, I bought control plates to add to my Jazzmaster (a la the longscale Jaguar) just as soon as I get the nerve to cut up my pickguard. I'll probably chicken out, though, and just order a custom made PG. Who knows...

jazzmaster hands down, I will probably like my jag more once I get some decent pickups in it

I Love my Jazzmaster soooo much, it sounds amazing to me!

but the 24" Scale of the Jaguar is much more friendly to my little hands, so I'm hopefully going to be buying my Jaguar back from Deadpenny and pop some Jazzmaster Pickups in it!, maybe a refinish in Surf Green with A new Tort Pickguard and a Jazzmaster pickups selector switch

I fell in love with the Jaguar's chrome! but now i perfer the Jazzmasters look

I prefer the Jaguar for the looks and the sound of it. It fits like a glove in the indie rock I play.

I love the tone of the JM more than the jag. The are both wonderful pieces of art but to choose one the JM would win.
