Do they not have guitar stores in Croatia? I was doing a google search and I see nothing. Is Croatia like the first layer of hell where they have no guitar stores and you have to mail order everything? Beautiful country though.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

No, the UK is probably the first level of hell as far as gear is concerned .. I think I've seen two JMs in stores around where I live, one was a CIJ and one a vintage (I hooked an FDP guy up with the CIJ and bought the vintage myself).
So I can imagine what things are like in Croatia .. I believe him when he says he can't get his hands on one to try out at all. In fact, him and the Bambi Molesters will probably own the only Jazzmasters in the country .. OK, that is an exaggeration, but you get my point.

They still import CIJ Jags and JMs in Sunburst, CAR and OW at

Yeah, Brighton's a bit of a way to go for me .. that's why I qualified my statement with "around where I live". I know there are vintage JMs in the stores in London and so on .. maybe it's only the North that has Eastern European levels of gear availability .. !

well guys and gals I am definitely in a tough spot regarding offset guitars. Theres a forum member who lives in the my city so I will meet up wit him to see what are the necks like....that is if I find time.
I was wondering wether someone took the caliper to their JM and measured their MIJ CIJ JM neck thickness-front to back.
I went into a store and I tried this AV strat, a real nice piece, pricey like hell but had a neck just right, maybe if it were a bit slimmer i was thinking.
The guitar I am playing on right now is a tele copy, real korean dawg. But kinda grew on me. I borrowed it from my friend. It has kind of a medium neck, well 20mm at 1st fret and then 23,5 at the 12th. I mean I bet I could get used to anything as long as it's not an Ibanez Wizard neck. Maaaan do I hate those!!!
I was thinking about gettin this strat but once I pick em up I get reminded how borring they sound no matter how you play em.
