I would think that adding a bolt-on neck pretty much ruins the appeal of a Firebird, anyway.
Isn't one of the Firebirds huge positives its neck-thru body construction? Weird.
Pretty color, though.

yeah, i was wondering how that body got mated to that neck. i'm guess it's just a custom 3-piece body with the center neck-body being chopped to just a body-length piece with a neck pocket. i bet it doesn't sound a whole lot like a firebird now, especially with the maple neck.Ursoluno wrote: I would think that adding a bolt-on neck pretty much ruins the appeal of a Firebird, anyway.

Here's a clip from an AOL session that has some good shots of their offsets.

The whole reason its a bolt on is because he wanted a Jazzmaster neck on it. Short of making a whole new one as a through neck design I guess its the easiest way.
I've always respected Feeder. yes they do have a radio-friendly side, but theres another side you can explore through the B-sides and live performances.

It's even quite prog in the middle! The lead soloish bits are very Corgan-esque. Feeder were the UK's Smashing Pumpkins in their early days.
