What a stunning guitar, it's incredible in every way.
Wow! That is a stunner - would have been tempted had I not scored one of the sherwood green versions earlier this year. Congrats - it's a beauty!

These MIJ or CIJ units have intrigued me for a bit.

Doing the math, the comp striped Jazzy at 158000 yen comes to $1056. I get there would be tax, tariffs, etc. or maybe even the need to go through a 3rd party that imports them.

We have a local dealer that is bringing these units from recent years in and a quick skim is showing them as marked up over 100%. Yes, they're selling the Japanese units for prices comparable to MIA vintage reissues.

Seems outrageous to me.

That might be the best color I’ve seen on these Kinko FSR’s

Yeah, that's fantastic. Does Kinko (or the other Japanese dealers) email when drops of new FSR and other guitars are coming, or do you just have to check their sites on the regular?

I have an MJT Inca Silver Jaguar. Clay dot neck + matching headstock. Had it for over a decade, so it's kind of yellowed/aged. People always think it's legit at this point. This looks so good. Inca Silver is a top tier color.

On Kinko's mainpage, there are banner images that rotate. One of them is usually the FSR status, with the dates for the next shipments. For example, more inca silvers are coming on Dec 4th. So, expect early morning Dec 4th (Japan time), they will post more. You will def be able to get one if you are on top of it. But as for the NEXT colors coming, there's no way to know.

After a week with my inca jag, I have to say that the setup was somehow perfect on it out of the box, and it plays/sounds nicer than my AVRI 62 jag. And DHL never asked for customs money (maybe they will later), so out the door I'm at ~$1300. For a guitar that is at least MIA quality, and also a limited production somewhere in the 25-50 units. Incredible guitars, I can't recommend them enough. Also I had the guitar in my hands in less than 36 hours after ordering.

Inca Silver is a perfect colour for a Jag. Goes so well with the chrome.
I find that to be the case with most metallic finishes on Jags, but Inca Silver looks particularly nice.

I am also super impressed with my Sonic Blue Jag FSR from Kinko. Packing and shipping was flawless! The Sonic Blue and another color I can’t remember was limited to 48 total built. Mine was shipped on a Monday and arrived Friday morning at 7 am after sitting at LAX (customs) for 3 days! Couldn’t be happier with both the guitar AND the transaction!

Viking Power: The comp striped JM is 154,000 yen which includes 10% local tax which is not applicable to your purchase so cost to you would be 140,000 yen. My shipping cost to Hawaii was 21,700 yen and they added 6720 for PayPal fee. Using my numbers you cost would be $1128 shipped with today’s conversion rate. PayPal also charges about 4.5% for currency conversion on your end. Kinko’s website says they accept major credit cards so that’s probably a better way to go. There may be cc fees applied by Kinko, not sure. So far no tax or other fees have been required.
No second party Importer is required.
Why give M&M the $$ when you can make the purchase yourself?? That’s a ridiculous mark up!

WOW! These Inca Silver pics are really giving me an unnecessary case of FOMO :fp:

I put my Ice Blue Metallic JM on a stand and just walked around to find an angle where the light made it look grey/silver and it was as if it was telling me “See! I am your Inca Silver and more!!”, which I kind of agree with …

Then I log on here and see this thread and know I have around a week or so to decide if I should try snagging one :fp:

Seems outrageous to me.

Gee I wonder which dealer that is.

They are very well known as a bunch of lying rip-off merchants.

lmao @ **RED PLUSH INTERIOR CASE NOT INCLUDED**

Amazing to think that someone might pay $2500 + tax for a guitar that cost me $1300.

Cue the "its an evil world we live in" meme
