Intriguing. I get the "V" and the two "T" knobs, but what does an "MB" knob do?Jimbo wrote:

Jennings did a Mid-range-Boost on some solid-state amps in the sixties. Perhaps this is something similar. Or maybe it's just the wrong knob!Orang Goreng wrote:Intriguing. I get the "V" and the two "T" knobs, but what does an "MB" knob do?Jimbo wrote:

Hello, EDP,edouglaspratt wrote:Jimbo wrote: "Anyone mentioned the Vox Consort yet? In the mid-60s, JMI's range of guitars was expanded by the introduction of several models which were clearly modelled (even if not dead-on copies) on some of the Fender guitars they were also distributing.

Symphonic Bass - Precision Bass
New Escort = Telecaster
Consort = Jaguar/Jazzmaster-ish

Thanks, Jimbo.
Can you clarify your list of four...first three are JMI? the fourth is Vox? Then the image is what guitar?
And the Vox Superace appears to be offset as well.
Hey, that's not a sticky? I'll sort that out right now. Here's the direct link, anyway: http://www.offsetguitars.com/forums/vie ... =5&t=29484" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;edouglaspratt wrote:Frelonvert,
Great addition to the list......thanks!
For the definitions of offset:
1) go to the Board Index;
2) then go to Questions and Comments;
3) then find the thread: Criteria for offset Wed Nov 04, 2009 1:09 am.
no, that's not it, but I think you can safely bet that most people who like offsets also have a strong taste for guitars like that, yeah. But the definition just comes down to the shape of the waist.frelonvert wrote:So, to my understanding, Offset guitars are guitars from the 60's or Guitars reissues or in the spirit of the 60's.
I'am correct ?
