There is a seller called reliablefender AKA The Stratosphere on ebay who sells parted jazzmasters for $500 + $300 for the neck. That's a brand new MIJ for $800 and all you have to do is screw four neck screws together.

I think that is a freaking bitchin' guitar! I am not a very big fan of signature guitars but the Costello one is one I would play for sure!

hi everybody, i think that a '59 Anniversary RI guitar its a fact, i mean is a perfect excuse to sell. i don't know why they don't make a classic jazzmaster as they do with the cheap  '50 & '60 strat and tele', that would be nice, with more finishes, and i think you would get a really good price at sites like musicians friends.
it's a thought... maybe a wish....

No, you're not. If the tort & the price are okay, it's a nice option.
I have to agree with zhivago & Steven too. There's no market for offsets like for strat, tele & LP, and if there was, wouldn't it bore you?
