i know it's not an offset... but the only guitar i've got with significant buckle rash is my '75 LP Custom. as far as i can tell... only 1 owner before me. and judging by the location, he wore it low... Jimmy Page low haha...

Aren't you guys--Mr M and Dead Penny neighbors in VA?
All this makes me want to wear suspenders. You know, the same thing happens with motorcycles when people load a whole bunch of crap onto their keyrings. The big metal Harley medallion things are the worst. Since all my guitars are refins I don't see the rash. Man, I was proud of having a 63 Musicmaster until I saw those 63 JMs.
What's he building in there?

yeah, it works out great... soon i'll invite him over to jam (obviously to bring his 66 JM along). Then i'll hit him over the head and bury him under my shed.

I like the belt buckle on certain guitars
I believe the thinner finishes when the paint
chips versus scratches looks nicer

dammit... all my best laid plans...
and just to let you know doug, i picked up the new TOM and lightweight stoptail. in 2 weeks i should have the pups (the JB is currently on order) and then i'll slap them in and get it set-up. as soon as that happens... Richmond. muwahahahaha, Überschall here i come!!!
