How much was it?
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

Re: My CS Bass VI is enroute!!
Okay, it is here and it is wonderful. Gizzorge, it actually is not the one you sent back. The only blemish is a couple checks in the body finish. They don't bother me a bit and I actually think it makes it look a little bit cooler
The sunburst is absolutely perfect. It looks exactly like the burst on my '64 Jazzmaster. With the 1.5" nut width, I always figured they would feel cramped to play, but it doesn't at all. I've only been able to plug it in for a few minutes, but it sounds great unplugged. It is really resonant. I think this might be my new favorite

Re: My CS Bass VI is enroute!!
that's the thing I always find amazing that with a A neck and six bass strings (to me) the Bass VI feels less cramped than my rick 360. I got a feeling it is because they are thicker bass strings , your fingers seem to know where they are easier than with 6 guitar stringsi love sharin foo wrote: With the 1.5" nut width, I always figured they would feel cramped to play, but it doesn't at all.

I remembered your old tag

My only regret is that I waited so long to try to get one.

I think you're right. There isn't enough space between strings to fumble around and hit the board instead. If feels really natural so far. I use my little Musicmaster bass quite a bit too, so I'm already used to the 30" scale.sookwinder wrote:that's the thing I always find amazing that with a A neck and six bass strings (to me) the Bass VI feels less cramped than my rick 360.
