Where are you getting these prices from? Every jagmaster on ebay or reverb is £400+

i'm in the uk so not sure where you are for ebay, but if you do a 'completed item' search you will get the prices people are paying here. varies between £100-£200. the vistas (£250ish?) seem to be more sought after but the price difference is greater than the actual quality difference. probably better to buy standard & upgrade.

opportunists & cynics can put wildy ambitious prices in their listings but they don't generally sell for that. well maybe to mugs (don't be one).

+1 on the jagmaster. Ive only ever played the Silver sparkle with the longer scale neck, but i love the look.

I've owned 4 - White, Red, Sunburst, and Black. All were amazing instruments that I regret getting rid of. The red was my absolute favorite.

If you can find one, hang on to it. A tip - check GC's used site. I purchased White, Sunburst, and Black through them at way less than they're worth, because they didn't know what was special about it, and assumed it was a normal Jagmaster.

Yeah, I had to buy 10mm conversion bushings.

That is a very cool looking JM. Def a notch or two above the Jim Root signature JM, which is cool in its own right.
The all white look rocks, and the amber plastic tip is a great touch. If it was mine, I'dd consider adding another small colour element, like changing one of the tone knobs to a red or purple one :-))

I had a Mascis and sold it. I picked up a Deluxe last week and it's really just a Mascis with a red body and no signature. The necks are exactly the same.
