got 2 sump pumps and wells. 1 is the regular variety and the 2nd is a grinder for the downstairs toilet. The room next to this one used to be a basement hair salon with its own bathroom for customers. so it needed a special pump in case some kids got dropped off at the pool.geoman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 1:39 pmIf its not a walkout basement you want to read up on sump pumps. Your collection is hanging on the walls of a swimming pool if a pipe or water heater fails. I used to inspect basements and many Folks lost fine things because they didn't understand how fast a basement can FILL with water while they were at work. Just sayin, think about it.. Most home owners policies wont cover a collection unless they are catalogued and paid for with a rider to the policy.

Re: What am I missing?
sorry to play catch up here. I've been mega busy with the new house. I'll post some photos for the rest of the room.
I installed 2 Sampson lipstick mic's up in the ceiling, one over the kit and one over the couch. all the cables go up over the drop tile and down to a presonus interface for the PC. I got a 50' usb cord for my little AKAI mini synth that can run all kinds of plugin nonsense and I went and splurged on a Behringer MS1 analogue synth. Installed 4 ethernet ports in the walls for all sorts of random shit since the wifi is hot garbage down here. I all the wall's have insulation in them too which really limits noise down here from going upstairs and pissing off the Mrs. lucked out with that.

Re: What am I missing?
Glad to hear about the sumps and pumps. I have seen small battery operated wetness alarms that just sit on the floor by the sumps. They a re pretty loud and cheap. If the power goes out a battery backup type can help. You can't have too much protection for so many Beauties!!

Re: What am I missing?
Update. I just recovered 2 PA towers that I got from my dad when he passed away in June.
They have 2x12, 2x10, and 3x3 in each cabinet.

They are loaded with Pyle speakers from I'm guessing the 80's?

They now match some Hokusai artwork got on the walls.

Best 22 dollars ever spent.

Re: What am I missing?
Now I need a couple of 5 watt tube heads to drive them or something. I bet a tiny terror would sound fucking huge coming out one of these things.
They are so cheap on reverb. One pair is 100 bucks right now in texas for local pickup. They look like total ass stock but 20 dollars worth of fabric and a staple gun they clean up nice
