That's a lot of money, plus customs.. $450 Squier turns into $800+ almost..

Hah!
Yeah, it's a shame but we have our own fair share of bad luck over here. There's been a few guitars I've not been able to ship thanks to them being restricted to the US market, either by competition agreement or CITES restrictions.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I didn't even know that before I pre-ordered. Always a bonus

Those aren't part of the 40th range, they're separate FSR models (I believe)

Ah, I think you might be right. I've ordered the silver sparkle jag and seafoam jazzmaster. Was a bit of a blur yesterday when ordering, thought they were all part of the same range!johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 1:57 amThose aren't part of the 40th range, they're separate FSR models (I believe)
That's a bit shit if they don't get a wider release. They would sell like hotcakes in those finishes.

Not sure if anyone noticed or maybe just don’t care, but these are $599 in the US. For a Squier. I know some retailers will discount if you call them and maybe a color or two will get blown out in a year or so but still.

Yeah it’s gonna be a massive bummer if these don’t get a US release. I love those matching headstock jags, the silver sparkle is especially nice. I’d take any of em in a heartbeat though.DavidG wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 2:10 amAh, I think you might be right. I've ordered the silver sparkle jag and seafoam jazzmaster. My guess is that these will end up exclusively at CME and possibly MF, much like the FSR pink/daphne blue CVs from last year.rbrcbr wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:40 amYeah it’s gonna be a massive bummer if these don’t get a US release. They’re already up for sale on CME’s website.soul1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 1:39 pmMy guess is that these will end up exclusively at CME and possibly MF, much like the FSR pink/daphne blue CVs from last year.rbrcbr wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:40 amYeah it’s gonna be a massive bummer if these don’t get a US release. Yeah, I think that was what I was trying to say. That they'll only be at CME and maybe another place, exclusively. So you probably won't find them at most retailers.
