The last 2 photos are of my Bass VIs binding for comparison.
By the way, PLEASE show me how to post photos on here (you can use PM so we don't demolish the thread).
Can they be posted from "My Photos" on Windows? Must they be uploaded first?
Whenever I try IMG or URL, it just posts with the text in there.
I'm not a big computer guy...
I just PM'd you about the photos, good luck!

Also, that's a pretty sweet looking Jag, how'd you find a black lefty B&B one? that's gotta be so rare... also the binding looks pretty sweet too, very white indeed!

the other pictures are of the original Tort in sunlight. It looks a bit cheap in my opinion.
let me know what you all think.

This looks INSANE, keep it like this! Maybe just switch to aged pickup covers.

Yes, thanks alot.
Sometimes the size comes out wierd with dimensions written across the bottom .
Oh well, that's why we've got a lifetime to learn...
The lefty was very rare -a Taniguchi Limited from '06.
Only a handful were made.
I'm probably doing JMXs in it -should compliment the blocks well.
I've got 2 other Jaguars, one destined to become a 27"-ish baritone, the other with the Antiquity IIs to be kept standard (aside from my custom GG pickguard, of course )

Hey buddy, what you gotta do is find the link of only the image... (sorry i'm not very computery and therefore don't really know the lingo)
for example I just went into the link, right clicked on the photo of the sunburst jag and selected "open image in new tab" (im using Google Chrome on a Macbook) then take the link and use the image thing like you just did...
eg... Image

Sweet! I thought it was rare... The JMX mod is well worth it, I did it late last year on my red '93 Jag... there's a video somewhere on youtube of it. Also, cool pickguard on the Sunburst one too!

Maybe it's just me, but a jaguar just doesn't look quite like a jag until it's got blocks and binding

It still looks like a Jaguar, it just puts the cherry on the cake. It's the equivalent to 18" rims on your car when everybody else has 16"s...

If it's the cherry then

It's for exactly that reason that I have a difficult time bringing myself to sell it; It's flawless!

I've got a T serial MIJ Jaguar, that the seller sold to me as a 1994 guitar, and it still had the plastic on the scratchplate, I bought it blind, he said he only played it twice, when it arrived it sure looked like it had never been played :) I've had it for 8 months now and it still looks brand new.

I also loved the look of B&B, so got that. Then I changed the pickguard for vinyl tort, cream fender witch hats, and a AVRI tremolo tailpiece, and a AVRI mustang bridge, I freaking love this thing, from playing it to messing with it. I've changed the neck angle with shims, truss rod, bridges, I've done a lot to it to make it better for myself.

For one, I didn't like that the binding on the side is covered with that yellow poly, when I played the neck I almost couldn't see the binding, so I scraped all the poly off the binding only, and then went over the whole neck with some steel wool (gloss is already back). It really helped with the look in my opinion.

They're great guitars, and I love mine, and I'll admit it has all the problems that Jaguars may have, but nonetheless I love it, even sold my Tele as I just couldn't play it anymore, once I got the Jag there was only one Fender in the house. I'll admit the Tele sounded amazing, a probably better all in all than the Jag, but I don't know, the Jaguar just it s me
