Seems like the necks on the new Squier Supersonic might not be great but does anyone know whether they would fit a Pawn Shop Supersonic?

I'd like to try a short scale offset with a thinner neck and my Pawn Shop's neck is pretty chunky.

There's nothing wrong with the Squier Supersonic neck - it just on the very thin side ... as I mentioned I have small hands and like thin necks usually from Squier Bullet or Affinity models for example and when I played this I thought "hmm this really feels thin" ... just saying - the average Fender C shape player might be irritated

As for the guitar : mine was far from unplayable - neck relief was a bit off (not unusual for a guitar coming directly from the factory shipped in a box), with little adjustment on the truss rod it was good to go... haven't even changed the strings yet because I didn't notice it being out of tune or something but I don't use the strat trem a lot ... will put 10's on it for sure soon. Squiers are a bit more inconsistent but mine is fine - can't complain.

I've only got the vista and paranormal to compare but it's not a direct swap as far as the neck pocket goes between mine. The paranormal neck is a bit skinnier at the heel so will have some play on either side. Haven't been able to check if screw holes on the neck align yet either. The fretboard on the paranormal has a bit of extra length after the 22nd fret also. Not sure how different the pawn shop ones are for neck dimensions, maybe wadeaminute can chime in as he has at least a few of the vista and pawnshop ones.

I was hoping to put the vista neck on the paranormal body as my vista body is pretty trashed from numerous attempted DIY refinishes (don't ask, this was done before they became more valuable and collectable ). I wanna eventually get the vista body refinished in green sparkle by a pro.

I have never tried to swap necks between the Vistas and the Pawn Shops. I suppose that I could try, but that seems like unnecessary trouble - especially as my only Pawn Shop at the moment is a 12-string.

Are the shell pink JM/Jag exclusive to Andertons? It's the only place I've seen them listed. Or is it just that there's not enough stock to go around at the moment or something?

I assume stock. Theyre mentioned in the product pages of guitarcenters pages for the daphne blue jag and jazzmaster, but they dont have their own page yet.

check CME, apparently they have an arrangement with Anderton's to do exclusive limited Squier/Fender runs in tandem. not sure if this is one, but maybe -

But when anyone posts a photo of a stock sunburst Mexican jazzmaster they get 100s. That shit is boring as hell
