I noticed this week that my white JM Jag has started to yellow pretty radically already! If you look down at the side of the guitar it almost looks like a sunburst effect as it fades from a slight yellow on the front to the original white on the back...

I'm currently not sure how I feel about this. Going to start leaving it well out the way of any sunlight!! I do like guitars that look aged and vintage but I've only owned this fella since April!

I noticed on SNL (a 'comedy' show Saturday at 11:30 in the U.S.) that the keyboardist for Passion Pit had a Marr Jag around his neck.
I do not remember him actually striking a chord. It makes me wonder if Fender is asking bands to use the guitar to help sales.

He was playing it.

Thanks. I only caught take a walk and didn't see him strum it once. Did he play it during the other song? Or did I just miss him play it during take a walk because we were all trying to figure out why they needed 25 people on stage and how got on the show with such a terrible singing voice?

So he does it play it! Sounds very nice! Saw it in the other thread.

Man that song sucks MAtchbox Twenty level.

Can you tell me if Bare Knuckle is selling the Marr special set?

Because it seems like they don't, and they could cash in selling it..

I think it was mentioned earlier on in the thread that they'll make them if you request them. Shoot them an email and see :)

Yeah IDK how you could miss it. He's playing a little riff for all the verses, he definitely gets a good sound going with it.

It must have been the other forty people on stage and the singer's bad voice and terrible dancing that distracted me.

Just thought I'd add to the party.. The other guitarist in my surf band (Men In Grey Suits, out of Hawaii) just picked one up. This guitar is a monster. Absolutely stellar sounding pickups. Together with my JM we have a serious surf sound now (he was playing an Epiphone Les Paul with an aftermarket trem before........)

Thanks Johnny Marr for the attention to detail...

ROCK !

Mine also, depending on the lighting.

It is starting to turn yellow just a little bit. I don't know if it's fading or if the finish has finally cured or what but it looks great!
