You know, some of us really DON'T want to play Gibsons. There are offsets at most price points for me to choose from with more or less vintage appointments unless you just HAVE to have American and not go for the Mexican Classic Lacquer or RW offsets at $1k. I'm glad I still get offset bodies with humbuckers to play with. I don't see myself playing another shape, but I do see myself playing with different bridge configurations and pickup types so it works for me.
I'd say Fender are doing a pretty decent job of tossing their offerings up every couple of years. The used market has gotten incredibly interesting since I joined OSG too.
