Well, at least someone in the Commonwealth got one - as I posted before Canada didn't get any - but managed to get one finally yesterday via the U.S.A.ChampionPenguin wrote:Even if the UK got 19, still better than Australia. We got 2...

I can imagine 90 for the UK as Johnny is from the UK and probably most popular there. I might be wrong but believe his fan base in Holland is rather small. There is at leadt one in Holland and not sold yet...

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
Has anyone weighed there's? I found my Sherwood noticeably lighter than my White one so I've weighed them (bathroom scales). Sherwood came in at 8 lbs 3 oz, and the White one 9 lbs 1 oz.

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
Can anyone fill me in on the technical details of the marr jag pickups?
I just bought a CIJ jag and was thinking what pickups to put in it. I'm intrigued by the marr jag and wanted to find the specs of the pickups ie magnets, impedance, wire guage, or whatever.
It's not necessarily that I want it to sound the same as the marr jag, but probably something similar. As far as I know, BKP aren't selling the pickup sets as yet. Any other pickups that are in the same ballpark? I might get a boutique maker to do me something similar to the marr pickups (the creamery in Manchester will make it to your spec and still come in less than a pair of antiquities).

I may be wrong here but I'm sure I heard that BKP will wind you a set to the specs of the Marr jag...I'm sure someone on here has had it done.hessodreamy wrote:As far as I know, BKP aren't selling the pickup sets as yet.

Quite possibly, but in general BKP prices are a fair bit higher than the creamery (though I have no idea of quality/price ratio for each company). Also, it's not that I want it to sound exactly the same as the marr jag, I just wanted to get some info to factor this info into my plan.JazzmasterJonny wrote: I may be wrong here but I'm sure I heard that BKP will wind you a set to the specs of the Marr jag...I'm sure someone on here has had it done.

They will sell them, but they aren't listed on the website. You just have to email and ask them.JazzmasterJonny wrote:I may be wrong here but I'm sure I heard that BKP will wind you a set to the specs of the Marr jag...I'm sure someone on here has had it done.hessodreamy wrote:As far as I know, BKP aren't selling the pickup sets as yet.

Just noticed in this picture the bridge is flipped around.
Any upside to this?
Are the strings hitting the head of the intonation screws?

Yeah that's interesting. I notice that it really compresses the strings. I wonder if it's in Johnny's contract that he has to keep the stock Fender bridge on it? I'm surprised he's not using StayTrem bridges, since it was basically designed for his guitar in the first place, and later refined a bit.

The strings don't hit the screws.Musjagjazz wrote:Just noticed in this picture the bridge is flipped around.

just a thought, and it's a long shot at that, but maybe it's how he tells two green ones apart?
it's a bit less of an eye-sore than the pete townshend number system. less noticeable to those who are not OSG'ers
just speculating.

your paranoia must be weapons-grade.
