Show me your upgraded/modded Bass VIs and baritones!!
I'm in the middle of a project myself and I want some inspiration.
Long-scale guitar? Short-scale six-string bass? Don't care — I wanna see what you've done with 'em!

Re: Show me your upgraded/modded Bass VIs and baritones!!
My first Bass VI was built from a cheap Tele body and the neck of a japanese EB-3 copy.
I recently put the EB-3 back together and tuned it like a cello, so this "Cabronita VI" doesn't exist anymore:
Instead I have this Squier VI. It's got a new pickguard, series switch for middle and bridge pickups, brass nut, brass sleeves on the bridge to keep it from rocking and a quality set of 250k pots. Also I shimmed the neck and strung it with a nice set of La Bella rounds.
Here's the Cello/EB-3 which is kinda like a 4-string baritone guitar:

That green one up there is super hot. Nice work! Mine has a few simple mods: new guard, painted headstock with SQVI logo, STaytrem bridge, Bronco knobs, and a set of AVRI pickups from a Cyclone.

I added a USACG Baritone neck to a Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster. I modded the bridge to be top load Duo Sonic. Want to swap pickups for some TV Jones Filter’tons eventually.

Thank you, glad you like my stuff :-)
I'm still in the noodling-around-phase with this thing and try to get my head around that fifths tuning. Most of what I play is crap yet. I need some more time before I record something with it.

The buzz is good fun with the VI, I switched around my board and added my old green sovtek big muff and it sounds like a angry god is trying to come through the speakers.

the strat has a baritone conversion neck. it sounds ok but the body is being ripped apart.... i have a plan for the neck when i get some money..... the only clue im giving is it's going to be called the yanderemaster
offset guitars resident bass player.

It's made from the bottom of a Hammond 1590BB pedal enclosure.
