Graphite SuperSonic looks good! That sucks that Toro had such a huge dent in it. Strange video, but still cool to see these in action.

i enjoyed this video, and i have to say the Super Sonic has me kind of intrigued as a cheap knock-around guitar. i'm setting up a shop/hangout space in our basement, not exactly the most controlled environment, and one of these might be a good fit. i see from another video they might need some tuning stabilization with an added spring, heavier strings, nut work and so forth, but this guitar appeals for some reason. also the pickups are said to be hotter than blazes, so maybe some JB's at some point... :shifty:

The whole point of my video was spend 3 dollars on 2 springs, put them in, throw the factory strings in the trash, tune it once and never tune it again.

All the other videos on the internet right now for it are saying things like "i bet this guitar sounds great with a lot of gain and turned up real loud" but instead they are trying to play blues lawyer licks on it or miserlou on it instead fighting with it. So I turned it all the way up plugged it into some Dwarfcraft Devices and go to town on it. No sense me rehashing what everyone else already did. I just did what they all recommended someone do but didnt.

Good point. Also, everyone is complaining about the strings. Thank God someone finally put a new set on before spending a whole video talking about how it probably needed a new set.

I've been in 60 cycle hum's comments teaching him how to set up a guitar.

There's nothing wrong with not knowing how to set up a guitar, but making YT vids acting like an authority on the subject, while spewing inaccurate information is a pet peeve of mine.

At least GetOffset admits she doesn't know everything. ;)

Same boat here. I called last week asking for an update and they said Cyclones were set to ship on July 7th. We shall see. Seems odd that the releases are staggered like that, surely they knew demand for all the paranormal models is high

I dont wanna pick on the guy but fuck sake.

It's the equivalent if I bought Lucille, plugged it into a JCM800 turned it all the way up, stood in front of it and complained about the pickups feeding back a little too much. It's not what the thing was designed to do. You should know that before you start. PUT NEW STRINGS ON YOUR GUITAR ARE YOU 14?

I realize my youtubes arent for everyone, theres about 15 people on one website that understand what I'm about, I make the videos for them and if anyone else can take a nugget of my madness and use it then awesome. I've been collecting these kinds of guitars for 25 years now, I know what I'm talking about and that might come off snobby. I try to use humor in everything I do but some people are such downers they even think that's being a dick. It's all good.
