I have aluminum pickguards on guitars, a Jazzmaster and a Firebird with P90s.

I don't notice any change in sound, and even if the pickguard shelved of .5% of the high frequencies in some range or the other, the Jazzmaster has plenty of high frequency to spare and it's probably less difference than if you used a different brand of strings or a thicker pick or something.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I got it in January, gorgeous guitar, feels, plays and sounds like nothing else!
