I've got both - a modded SQJMJM and a (2008?) Thin Skin AVRI Jazzmaster and a Squier VM Jag.

Whilst the two JMs get plenty of use (the Mascis is my main gigging guitar) I have to say that I tend to hardly ever play the Jag. I've had three Japanese Fender Jaguars in the past and always end up selling them, and just kept the Squier. I have come to the conclusion that despite my best efforts I just don't like Jaguars as much as I would like to.
