Limited Edition Made in Japan Inoran Jazzmaster

Post by MazzyJaster » Wed Sep 02, 2020 8:20 pm

Has anybody seen or played one? If so, what are they like?

They have American Vintage '65 Single-Coil Jazzmaster pups, 7.25" rosewood fretboard, and a bone nut.

Funnily enough I saw one on Andertons website when I was scoping those purple Squires. Factory buzzstop is odd (and I fear it could popularise the things again) but that's easy enough to fix. They seem to be charging a bit more than Vinteras which seems... fine, I guess. Trem plate is in the right spot so it has that going for it.

Edit: apparently its a signature model and they were making them in Japan for a while. I saw one second hand saying it was a 2011 and another saying 2016.

Yes, there was an Inoran sig model that came out some years ago. It was discussed in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=105811&p=1461381&hi ... n#p1461381

The buzz stop again, smh. More like choker. I don't like how it limits the airiness that I love about Jazzmasters.
