Thanks. It's definitely my number one. I like rosewood -- both the sound and feel -- better than maple, but the daphne blue one is not far off.

Let's not forget the JAZZMASTER PRO! I upgraded it with an Invader and witch hats.

Dick Dale fan? I hope you got the big 16 strings on it!

I can't even imagine trying to use 16's. I've dabbled with 12's or 13's on other guitars, but they didn't work too well for me. It came set up for 11's though, and it plays fantastic, best Strat I own.

Here's a Sonic Blue with a maple fingerboard and gold hardware. It has a small V neck profile, slimmer than any other V that I've seen, and it's absolutely fantastic.

Here's a 2010 Telemaster that I picked up as basically NOS just after quarantine started. I was just going back to read the original OSG thread on the first Telemasters and it's crazy to think about how novel the idea seemed in 2008 (especially Fender innovating on an offset body style at that time) and now how normal Telemasters are.

The one thing that always stood out to me about the original CS run, that this one is from, is that none of the other Fender or Warmoth or others seem to have is a pickguard with some meat to the left of the bridge. All of the newer Fender "offset Telecasters" barely have enough width for the pickguard screw to the left of the bridge.

Neat, a Jason Smith original. They must have drawn up a new pickguard at the time, the curves are convex all the way down and it looks a little more bulging on both sides, although it doesn't follow the body lines.

The pickguard on the production "Offset Telecasters" matches the outline of a conventional Jazzmaster pickguard, so that last screw is just past where the curve changes direction.

Money shot. That is just dead sexy. I love a good Telemaster/Jazzcaster. I have no regrets building a (Warmoth) Tele Custom. But after the years I've been playing, I think a Telemaster with a Tele bridge pickup and a JM neck pickup (possibly with rhythm circuit) would be my perfect guitar if I were to only have one.

We lost some posts. But here is a blue sparkle with a gold guard.

This is the only "Journeyman Relic" I have, and I wouldn't get another. It originally came with a conventional bridge, but it was so horrible and grody it even left a big stain in the case, so I replaced it with the RSD-J bridge off that desert sand ^^. Replaced the tuners for the same reason. The plastics it came with were bright white but scratched and dirty, and I thought the "aged" cream color might look better, but in low light it doesn't have enough contrast with the pickguard, so I'm planning to go back to either white or a lighter ivory/parchment.

It cleaned up okay otherwise, though it still has some chips, and the finish is a little dull overall, but it's a nice guitar. It came with Lollar pickups.

Love the Desert Sand/black pickup covers look.

Yeah, that desert sand has a special place in my heart.

Here's a pair of white blondes. The one on the right is just a factory thin skin '59 reissue, but the left was actually my first maple-fingerboard Jazzmaster. It has that extra little snap in the attack, it felt like a big deal at the time.
