Okay, and which one would that be? The American Original "standard model" has the 9.5" neck and the larger frets, just like this Fiesta Red model in question. Is one required to go through the Custom Shop, for $3,000+, to simply get a period-accurate (rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius, etc.) Jazzmaster or Jaguar?
In 2020 - assuming you can't find a used '62 AVRI or one of those recent '65 reissues - the answer appears to be "yes". To my knowledge, for the first time in many years (decades, even) Fender isn't making/selling an across-the-board period-accurate American reissue offset. I just find that a little odd, that's all.
