I could use some help identifying this uniquely strange American Vintage '65 Jaguar.
This used AV65 Jaguar in Ice Blue Metallic popped up on GC's used section last weekend and I jumped on it.
It finally arrived and some strange things are afoot...
First off, I've never seen a Jaguar decal like this before...Does anyone know what year Fender transitioned to this logo?
Secondly, I was under the impression the body would have traditional contours but they are a bit more pointy on these reissues.
Another weird thing is how the Ice Blue has yellowed in this sunburst pattern. So strange.
Joking aside, I called the store it came from and they went above and beyond to fix the error. They were able to track down the mix-up and the real Jaguar arrived today. Big thanks to them.
