This has pretty much everything I’d want from the Fender Custom shop down to the details. I even like the traditional Jazzmaster headstock better than the Starcaster style.

I’ll report back once I get it in the studio next week.

Yeah, I’d imagine that would probably be the popular opinion around here. There’s a prototype in the Fender Golden Age book that has a model just like this but in lake placid blue. One of the early ones must have had this neck configuration.

Edit: it’s the sunburst prototype model that has the Jazzmaster style headstock like this one.

Too spendy for me too! Most I ever paid for a guitar but if it’s worth it I’ll have a pretty unique beast.

Of course you can all thank me though because this means Fender will finally reissue them this year. Lol!

Yeah, that’s quite the pricey replica, but it’s all relative I guess. To get something along these lines from Bilt wouldn’t exactly be cheap.

Exactly! There’s a lot of customization in a guitar like this to get the look right with all the plates and contours of the body. Even Fender gets lazy. Just look at their last version of the Marauder.

Even if I sourced all this myself I’m sure it’d still come in close to $2000. The extra few hundred on top of that I consider convenience charges.

If this thing plays at least as good as my AO Jazzmaster then it’ll be well worth it and I’ll probably keep it forever. If not it’s getting returned.

I was wondering about that too. I looked close at the pictures and it looks like they removed it. Or they did a REALLY good photoshop job.

That's the one Rio put on hold here then bought and flipped. Sick looking guitar. Cool it's back in the community at least. Rexter's paint right? Homie does killer work, man.

Yeah, a forumite built this, it sold on OSG, it made it to M&M, lost a decal and gained their customary 40% markup and has now made it back to OSG.

Wonder what it sold on here for originally. I got it for $2500 out the door no tax. Money wasn’t an issue for me. I wanted a Marauder with these exact specs and there it was. Now, I just hope It plays great and sounds awesome.
