Is Nash making their own bodies/necks these days? If not, curious to know where they are getting them.

Nah, nah, they're 100% MIA -- made entirely from parts they sourced in the US, like these pre-made import necks!
It's like saying you made lasagna from scratch out of ingredients you had in your fridge, like a ready-to-bake frozen lasagna.

Wow that is an awful relic job on the trem plate. Anyone ever seen an old trem plate with scratches on it like that?

Only on equally (or worse) ham-fisted 'relics'.gutter rock wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 8:46 pmAnyone ever seen an old trem plate with scratches on it like that?

2600$ for an instrument with a neck that has a trussrod access hole that is less refined than on a 400$ Squier

Hype.
No, seriously. The parts are super generic -- if generally okay-but-not-great, especially at this price point -- the necks and bodies aren't made in-house, and the actual QC and long-term quality are reportedly spotty. But they do relics that the TGP crowd finds pretty so they get to sell at crazy prices.

I thought Nash Guitars were just partsmasters made from parts sourced from Allparts?

Tough crowd.
Can’t say I’m a big Nash fan myself.
Anyway, it’s a thing that exists.

I have a lot of respect for Nash being one of the more successful partscaster builders out there, but their offsets don't do it for me

Re: Nash Guitars is doing a VI
That would require ingenuity and actual manufacturing from Nash. I think we're setting the bar a bit too high for them here.
