In a future utopia, all headstocks will be matching headstocks. In the sun the color looks much darker than the original photo. Somewhere between CFM adn LPB. Appears that you did a really great job on the finish considering it came from a rattle can.

Did you get your body and neck back from getting finished? I'm excited to see how it comes together.

My body is back from paint, but I’ve been focused on getting a new pedalboard up and running.

Oh man, now I'm even more excited to see it come together. If the rumors are to be believed, there's some metallic green involved, correct?

Thanks, it's one of those colors that's hard to capture. It goes from looking very deep blue-violet to a light silvery blue. I agree on painted headstocks, especially on Fender offsets.

Oh, I remember now when Larry had it up for sale/trade! It makes me want one so bad. I have a sweet Mustang Special from the Pawn Shop series and it's as sweet as it gets but I feel that's a whole different thing, from the configuration of pickups to the actual shape of the body.

Oh, I remember now when Larry had it up for sale/trade! It makes me want one so bad. I have a sweet Mustang Special from the Pawn Shop series and it's as sweet as it gets but I feel that's a whole different thing, from the configuration of pickups to the actual shape of the body.

The '64 has a slab body, that I think is slightly thinner than the contoured ones.
