Love the sounds I hear in this promo

Does Fender make anything currently that will get these sounds? And be a quality Jazzmaster?
Thanks for any guidance...

The American Original is the current iteration of this range, basically an AV65 with a 9.5 fretboard radius, and other tweaks but I guess the sound is the thing you’re interested in.
Fender also use these pups on the Mexican Road worn series too, I think, and maybe the Vintera 60s?? I tried to look this up whilst posting but couldn’t find a definitive answer.

AO 60s is a great guitar. The neck is chunky, but not huge say like a AV '50s Telecaster. I find it to be more akin to my AV'64 Tele. I switch between the two and never notice the radius difference. Fender calls it a 60s C, which is noticeably larger than the Modern C. One of my favorite necks. Fit and finish were at a high level.

So this one would be a good one? As a substitute for the 65 Vintage that is discontinued?

The discontinued one is going through the roof on the used market, I can get a decent price on the new one....
Thanks! And sounds like the neck would be fine with me.

Yes. The AO line is the successor to the AV line. I have the '52 and '64 AV Teles and the 'AO '60s Jazzmaster. The AV line is more period correct in that they had the 7.25" radius and smaller frets. The AOs have the more modern 9.5" radius and taller fret wire. I believe the pickups are the '65s. Like I said before, I don't notice the difference in necks or frets when going between the two. I'll leave it to others to dissect the finish differences. Both are nitro, though. The AVs chip easier.
