Deimel Guitars
I am a bit of a newbie here. I joined this forum to find out more about Deimel Guitars.
If you have any experience with them I would appreciate you posting it. If I do decide to order it is a long wait so I want to know as much as I can about them before I commit. Especially looking for pictures.

Re: Deimel Guitars
I have one. It's really a great playing and sounding guitar. The beefy neck is very comfortable, the vibrato is really smooth. Initially, I was disappointed with the setup. The action was high and the intonation was off. I expected it to be nicely setup considering its price range.
I had my friend, Avi Shabat of Shabat Guitars set it up for me and it was perfect (for my liking, at least.)
It was one of my favorite guitars because it's so versatile. But right now it's just kept in the case. My interest in playing seem to have waned a bit.

I would love to try one. Really dislike reverse headstocks though.

Re: Deimel Guitars
I mean... did it come from Germany? IMO it's a bit silly to get mad about a "bad" setup when a guitar came from 3,000+ miles away. Guitars are made from wood, and you bet it's gonna move when you ship it to a different climate. I see that you're in SoCal. I work in the industry and all the guitars we ship are perfectly set up - but when they go from New York to Texas or Florida or SoCal - the neck is gonna move. That's just how guitars work.Bart wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 4:49 pmI have one. It's really a great playing and sounding guitar. The beefy neck is very comfortable, the vibrato is really smooth. Re: Deimel Guitars
I have one on order that will hopefully be ready any day now. I'm in Berlin so relatively near to Deimel's workshop. I've never played one that wasn't absolutely incredibly well built. I'll do a post when I get it.

Re: Deimel Guitars
I have one for 2-3 years. Natural finish with purple pickguard.
Very nice guitar ! a bit overpriced though now (I did purchase it 1000€ less than current price now).
P90 as bridge pickup + 500k pots is great to make it slightly different from a Jazzmaster, but still in the same family.
Light ash body. Love the shape and feeling when played.
Very playable with its slightly thicker neck.
