Squier Changed The Jaguar Bridge Design?

Is that now standard or exclusive to that particular model? How does it compare to the old design?

Looks like any other Classic Vibe bridge to me, minus having set the intonation. They all come with the Mustang-style saddles and have for however many years CV Jags (and JMs) have been around.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

All Classic Vibe JMs and Jags have had this bridge since they were added to the line in 2019.

Your attitude to this bridge will depend on how much adjustability you expect in an offset bridge. This one offers none (except for intonation).

The Vintage modified Jaguars and Jazzmasters came with a very crappy bridge.
Since the classic vibe ones have been around, they have put these much better bridges on them.
The radius now matches the fretboard as well. 9.5"

The VM bridges were the correct radius, and much closer to the traditional design with the grooves. I don't consider the CV simplification of this bridge to be an improvement.

Interesting. I thought they were crap. I replaced all the ones I had with mustang bridges.

It's basically an American Professional bridge with pot metal saddles. The string spacing, 52.5mm, is the same, but the Am Pro bridge is going to be a little bit brighter. They're effectively a mustang bridge with narrow spacing. I find them to be better than both the vintage offset bridge and the adjustable mustang bridge.
