Looking for used Jazzmaster similar to AV 62 Jaguar

Congrats! I have the roadworn sibling of that '60s lacquer and after swapping the tremolo to a avri/av65 one it's in no way a lesser guitar than my bandmates' avri62 and AO Jazzmasters. I even prefer the lighter weight of the body, the snappier acoustic tone and the neck on mine. I have the early run with the rosewood board and I swear it's a nicer piece of wood than on my bandmates' ones, and also the fret-edges are rolled super smoothly, although I'm not sure it came that way from the factory or if it's done later by a guitartech.

Congrats! Looks like it didn't take you long to find one after deciding that was the model. I always went back and forth on springing for an AVRI, but after finding a Classic 60's I don't think it's necessary, especially today's prices.

Dave’s Guitar Shop has an ongoing special run of AVRI62’s with some ‘modern’ specs like a flatter radius and medium jumbo frets, as well as a thinner finish.

A touch higher than your price range, but worth keeping an eye out for. Wildwood has a similar run years ago and used ones do pop up from time to time.

Great guitars - picked up a surf green one earlier this year and love it. Dave’s was great to deal with.
