C’mon, many people have indicated their concern about incorrect headstock shape.

The fun has only just begun. 😈

Also, grüß dich! I lived first in Berlin and then Leipzig from 2019 until just a few months ago, but I also worked for Baguley Guitars in Wilhelmshaven during this period so been all over. Köln is a nice city and Music Store is an INSANE shop, everyone should go there, even Johnny Somersett and Powdered Toast Man. Truly an unforgettable experience. I will try and remember to write you next time I'm in town and maybe we can jam Jazzmaster and/or Jaguar! Mach's gut!

algeriet, jokes and friendly meme pisstaking aside, I do actually like people who sweat the details as much as I like those that just enjoy things for what they are. Details are important, and people who are 'nerdy' about things tend to be the most interesting to talk to about a particular subject because you know you'll likely gain something from the exchange.

I go to Germany quite regularly (my sister lives there and a friend in Berlin) and Köln is on the list!

I just love seeing the passion of OSGers in action.

Fans and detractors alike, this news has got a lot of forumites excited in one way or another. That's cool. We don't frequently have big news, so we don't see this kind of flurry of posting activity all the time.

Well if you actually do like these kind of people why you be hasslin' me when I'm out here hasslin' Fender? 😁 All jokes aside, if you or Pacafeliz or any OSGer visiting the northwestern part of Germany wants to visit the Baguley Guitars factory or the JPTR FX factory lemme know and if I'm not around (read: in Sweden) I'll arrange for someone to let you visit and try out aluminium offset guitars and crazy fuzz pedals and 250w amps. This invitation however does not stand for Powdered Toast Man after their (his?) outlash at me a few pages ago.

I'm joking! I joke!
I'm kidding, I kid!
I'm childing, I child.

Yeah imagine my excitement when we finally got some big news until I saw the size of the headstock. 😎

Oh, i was just being intentionally contrary/cheeky as I'm a habitual piss-taker. Drives my wife up the wall!

I am curious though, would you buy one if it was half the price? Like, would you forgive that small detail if it was only 1300EUR?

not trying to crush the fun because some of these memes have been dope BUT

does anyone know if the 66-67 big headstock shape of a strat is identical to that of a 66-67 big headstock JM? there was a kerfuffle over @ strat-Talk about this and one of the members over there pointed out some interesting discrepancies in the dimensions (stuff even the Fender custom shop missed, for example).

i can post the image later if anyone is interested (will give credit to the OG strat headstock fetish dude-mar, also)

The million dollar question...

Ngl, while I'd ought to spend 2599€ on something else, like a Volvo 740 or something, if it was to the same level of standard as far as reissues go as the AV65 (single line Klusons aside hehehehe) , I think GAS would've overcome my senses and I'd try and work something out. Now all I can do is wait until we get to see it up close, but the likelihood of me getting one is 1/3 instead of 2/3, and that last third is only because of finances lol. Hbu, are you actually hyped about it and considering setting aside some beans for one this fall/winter? A custom colour metallic B&B has always been my jam so the LPB would have been the obvious purchase for me. And to answer your question, at 1300€ I'd buy it, glue a piece of wood to the headstock, add a veneer on the backside, saw the right shape out of and refinish the headstock lol.

Actually that question goes out to every miserable person still reading my posts: are you gonna get the guitar Y/N?

Woah, please link to that, sounds like just my kind of people who are out there comparing CBS headstocks between two models during the same years. 🍆
My take? I don't think so, but I am prepared to be enlightened. 🙏
