Assuming your location is the one I'm thinking of and you're not fussy about the name on the headstock (going by what you wrote I'm guessing not), there's a candy apple red VM Jazzy on eBay. £500 seems a bit steep to me, although it looks like it's had some upgrades, might be worth keeping an eye on.

Yeah, I noticed that. I assume the listing hasn't been up for very long. Obviously I wouldn't pull the trigger just yet, but as I said, worth keeping tabs on. As the user above said, you'll find one probably sooner rather than later because there were plenty produced.

The Player series Jazzmaster comes in candy apple red as well, by the looks of things. It's a shame they don't offer more though, although I can understand why not.

This is a surprisingly common failing among eBay sellers, though notably even more prevalent on the likes of Gumtree and FB Marketplace. I guess it can best be put down to utter cluelessness.
