Has anyone noticed that Boyan Chowdhury from The Zutons has a '65 Jazzmaster and Jaguar extremely good good condition.

I have also seen him use a Starcaster....I'm not really into the music...but I have seen live videos of theirs and they do put on a good show...tight band.

Cool, they obviously like good guitar but never use them. Recently it's been all Gibson's with them

Re: The Zutons
I find that I just can't use a Gibson. It's a combination of the feel and sound. In my experience, I'm able to cover way more ground with a Fender versus a Gibson. I was really, really, really close to buying a '74 goldtop Les Paul Deluxe several years back It looked really amazing, but I traded for another Jazzmaster instead. I don't regret it
I used to get emails from the Zutons before for some reason. I've never even heard them before.

The Zutons were emailing you?

Anyhow .. the last time I saw them was '03, and he was using the Starcaster then. Shame if he's retired it.

Re: The Zutons
Not them exactly but something from their mailing list. I'd never even heard from them at that time either so I don't know how it started
