I don't think this a real Fender pickguard, it looks too small for the body. Either that or the bodies a copy?

If he's looking forward to living out a long life, he'd better stop it.

I don't think that's even a real fender.
It's Lee Ranaldo, so he can pretty much do whatever he wants to whatever he wants.

I think if he destroyed one of his JMs it'd be too much, but for now he's on the edge.
The rythm gutiarist from Feeder usues a lefty that's pretty much exactly the same to that one

It is Lee's and I believe it was an AVRI Jazzmaster to start with. That one is Fiesta red and there is another just like it save for a Sherwood green finish. The pickguard is aftermarket and cut to accept the two Wide Range humbuckers. Obviously, it was also cut without a rhythm circuit or tone control.
In the pic below, that IS Lee playing it, not Thurston.

I think that Lee would know what he needs and what he wants. Those crap buckers are fender burstbuckers. I dont think that they are crappy at all.

Fender burstbuckers? Aren't the gibsons called burstbuckers?
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
