ESP 12-string JM/Jag-looking thing

Kind of cool... almost looks like they thought about doing a reverse hockey-stick headstock on it...

That IS very cool looking...  I was looking for a 12 string as the next guitar I'd like to have, and this one sure looks like it deserves a try.

the reflections of the strip lights on the roof makes it look a little like it has white competition stripes - it looks kinda cool like that!

Great, thanks for the link... It is listed as an ESP XJ-12. From what I found on ESP's website, they don't seem to be still in production, though.

Hey! It does!

The only real difference is that I used the Toronado string-through bridge (thats shaped like the original MMII bridge).

That pickguard shape is right on. No surprise, I guess... as I "lifted" it from various Fender themes. Same thing they did.

I like it...

Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

any idea how much it costs? I've been gassing for a 12 stringer lately. Actually since I heard the latest Incubus album with the beautifull fender XII sounds on it. But since an real XII is way out of my league, this might be a good stand in. At least I hope so, ESP's aren't exactly very cheap either.

Well the Japanese ESP website says 200 000 yen, which is pretty expensive (2000$ CDN, or around 1850$ US).  At that price, a Fender XII is not that much more.

But the ESP seems to sell pretty cheap when used.. around 500$ according to the used guitar site linked earlier..    But that is, if you can find one of those XJ-12 at your local store!
