Some Pictures of My Offsets

Post by burker » Tue Jan 23, 2007 7:21 pm

Well.... my real camera got stolen so heres some pictures  from photobooth (yeah yeah I know the quality is :k worthy)

First off is my favorite guitar, the 59' Jazzmaster.....

Image

:-*  I love this thing....

Also I've got this 66' Jag, which I seem to be playing more and more lately, Its got a Himalayan guy from a 1955 National Geographic ( I love making collages with them, although in this case I just liked this one image) and some shiny heart stickers....

Image

Very cool guitar, I don't have aproblem with the 24"  scale even though I've got really big hands.

My other short scale guitar is this Mustang, mostly from 72' it sort of looks like it has some kind of condition as the black top coat (which was brushed on) is peeling off and showing the sanded off competition orange finish, its got little foil star stickers.... pretty cool 8)

Image

(note, I was not the one who sanded off the finish)

And then I have my homebuilt Jazzblaster, its got a matching headstock, and some more collage work on the pickguard.  Also some weird stickers I found....

Image

Maybe some would say I overdecorate my guitars :P  ..... but I like it....

Then I have this "continental" guitar (an early Ibanez I believe) that i picked up at the salvation army, it counts as an offset I believe.....

Image

Anyway, once I get a new camera (not sure when thatll be..... damn thieves  >:( )  I will put up better pics, and pictures of my 76' Jazzmaster which is away at a undisclosed location ;D.

Yeah I used Photobooth (on the mac) which for some reason reverses things... I'm actually right handed, though I always though offsets look cool played upsidedown (like he squier super-sonic).

Guess they may look a little wacky, especially the mustang,  pictures dont really capture its weirdness well.... ;D

Burker, I love you decorations on em'.  The Himalayan guy rocks!  ;D

I wish I could see how bad the competition orange finish is beneath the black paint on your mustang.
Is the black paint peeling on the back of the guitar too?
