Possible stolen JM on Harmony central

1965 Jazzmaster. When I first bought this guitar, the original sunburst finish was gone, the pickguard was cracked, had humbuckers, roller knobs and pots were gone as well as the vol and tone knobs and pots. Had(and still has)a tuneomatic bridge. I ordered a new brown tortoiseshell pickguard, Knobs, pots and switches and Seymour Duncan quarter pound pickups. Still has the original Kluson tuners and vibrato assembly. Like most JM players, I don't use the roller knobs.
I think it sounds rather similar to something Sonic youth has owned? Maybe a Jazzblaster

Whats the right link then??

Just looked over their stolen gear again. Can't believe they had 8 Jazzmasters nicked.

In case anyone can get a serial number for the guitar in question (Harmony Central) the stolen serials are as follows.....

White JM - 126646
Burgundy JM - 44364
3 Sunburst JM's - L68761, 100958, 176211
Blue JM - SY 006
Black JM - 614960
Red JM - 145507

There were hundreds of Jazzmasters stripped and fitted with humbuckers in the 70s.

Seriously, it's a miracle that some jazzmasters escaped that treatment.

The tone control is what made me think that, I guess I was wrong
