Hi they are ok..I'm pretty sure they are identical to eastwoods, coxx and alden amongst  a few other brands..basically they all come out of the same chinese factory..I have two a Coxx sidejack, same as the eastwood/jay turser sidejack and an alden baritone sidejack..same as the eastwood again but better imo as it has through body stringing  ;)

i found the tremelo's to be pretty bad (but fixable)and the pickups to feedback(get them potted)..but other than that pretty good.

Are you talking about the Jay Turser surfmaster or Mosrite style guitar?  I think Eggwheat is talking about the mosrite copy

So far as I can tell, Jay Tursers are higher quality than a lot of Chinese-made guitars.  They have the scarf joint in the headstock and not behind the third fret like a lot of modern Ibanez guitars and all the Schecters.  They're finishes aren't as obnoxiously opaque as so many "L@@K!  Flame-Maple, that you can't even see!" Chinese guitars.  Not to mention they have that offset looking thing that practically beat me to my "Offset Custom."

Purely judging by their website, I'd say their made in the same factory as Schecter and Daisy Rock guitars.

I have a Turser strat copy which I leave down my cellar with my bassman so I can play down there.
I paid 75 for the guitar and I had to replace the pickup switch. The electronics is crap (so what - can always be upgraded) the pickups are fine, and the guitar is run of the mill chinese.
I'll let my company's kids use it when they come over.
One thing - very very light weight.

I have a daphine blue jazzmaster, for what i paid that guitar was and is well worth it. The pickups a great the trem is amazing, i just dont like the weird headstock other than that this guitar is amazing for the money. JT makes some decent stuff, they had a sale at samash and i played some of their other guitars and they a pretty nice. IMo
