(Sorry for the poor screengrab)
He says it is “gold mist” - it looks good.
Marr on the Radio 2 Piano room (warning, contains Vernon Kay).
He also says he’s working on a new acoustic, and plays a seven string Martin 000 on one song (presumably with an octave on the G), so that might be the one!

Looks like Firemist Gold. Pretty cool. Hope it's not a one-off like that Silver Sparkle one.

Johnny Jag back with new bone nut. It. Is. Stunning. The string spacing is all sorted. Low ish action. Plays like a dream. I have small hands and the neck and short scale are wonderful to play. I cannot begin to say just how much I am loving this guitar. Played it for 4 hours tonight with plenty of use on the whammy bar and it’s stayed in tune throughout. I’m writing songs on it. Couldn’t be more happy I took a punt on this on eBay. I am absolutely stoked.

If they stay with the 2 year cycle - there is a new color due this year.
Personally - I think they release the Lipstick version this year as a change up.

As if I haven't modded the beejeezus enough on my JM Jag (fiesta red pro refin, Kinman Surf-Jag pickups, StayTrem bridge), I wanted to get the Dave Wronski-style angled pickup control plate.
Dave is the guitarist in Slacktone and was also in John & The Nightriders (surf/instrumental bands). I found out back in 2018 when I toured the Fender factory that he worked there. I got to meet him at pre-Surf Convention 101 party that same weekend. Great guy, awesome player. Dusty Watson is a killer drummer. Dusty also plays drums for the garage rock band, the Sonics (from Tacoma, Washington) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFolqS24Y6U. Sam Bolle is a fantastic bassist (he's played bass for Dick Dale, too).

I found https://rockrabbitguitars.com/shop/jm-a ... ol-plates/ and got the aluminimum JM Angle Jag Control Plates set. They shipped it out the same day as I placed the order.
I'm not changing the upper horn switches (universal bright and pickup-switch position four bright) and the lower vol & tone control plate even though they come with the order along with the angled pickup switch plate. Maybe I'll put them to use in a future Jag build.
The angled pickup control plate isn't a perfect fit for this particular mint pickguard but good enough. I imagine it's probably a perfect fit for the stock white pickguard. I'll try to dig mine out of storage to see if the angled pickup control plate sits properly.

Has it been discussed to death that almost all of Johnny’s personal JM Jags do not bear his signature on the headstock?

Well - I think that his Jags are actually made by the FCS. But yeah he has mentioned that his do not have that.

Funny you mention, over the years when Les Paul was still with us I often thought the same thing.
