I've read, in several places, and heard, mostly on YouTube shows, that the pandemic has driven up demand for guitars to a record high. But, with the pandemic, companies can't keep up with the demand.

When demand outpaces supply, prices go up.

I bet that in a year the used guitar market will see massive price drops, as people sell off their pandemic guitars.

I suspect you will be right. I imagine the guitar market caving in soon. Just have the feeling, though I could be way off

Has this amazing silver flake finish been available on his sig models, or is that a finish only for Marr himself?

It is a custom one-off finish he calls "comet sparkle" on account of his record "Call the Comet"

I've seen a couple of decent refins by Marty Bell that looks similar though.

Johnny has displayed a few in custom colors that he requested but which later became available in a limited run like the green and blue

Yeah all the limited colors have been great and while it’s cool that them being a limited thing makes them special, I really wish I could get one of those Sherwood examples. My friend got, and later lost for something infuriating like $180 to a pawn shop) one of the Kandy Orange ones and straight out of the box it was an incredible guitar. The neck felt really good, the trem worked better than any I’ve ever tried and the finish was perfect and would age way easier (to me a positive) than any of the AV65 guitars I owned. I loved that thing, a lot.

I almost bit for one of the LPB ones. That’s normally my favorite finish anywhere but on the Marr it looked real weird and not as pleasing as I’d typically find it.

If they were to do a sparkle run in any color I would have a hard time not getting one. That one up thread is so awesome.

I'd love a Marr in this scheme:

Thank you! I feel the same about it. It's name is "Green Arrow."
