If you live in France, it's rare to find one for less than 1500 €...

hmmm, nope I live in the Netherlands. I've emailed the guy with a first offer of 600-800 euros. I have some 1000 euros to burn, but I want some room to negotiate. But if they're really that expensieve then I'm affraid I'll have to wait. Would be a pitty though, well I can always get me a Jaguar baritone if this fails.

The prices have actually been coming down here since the CS ones came out.

Yups, that one. But I've changed my mind, its just to expensive to buy right now. I guess I save some more and buy a vintage bass VI in a couple of years, after university.

pitty though, but I'm niot gonna let the money burn a hole in my pocket

On that note, I just came from Dirk Witte (the shop where Vinkie works) and they have one of the new CS ones. Nice guitar indeed. Pricey though..what was it, € 2250 or something.

First time in my life I actually touched a VI :).

Ah, so a CS bass VI does arround 2250 in the netherlands. Nice, that means I'm halfway there ::). Hopefully I can still find a CS bass VI second hand by the time I've got the money. Ah well time will tell, but this makes me feel a little bit better about letting the Japanese bass VI go ;)

MIJ too red, CS too brown..they need to mix the two together then it'd be perfect
