Gorgeous beauty. I like the way mine sounds with the low E on top, probably because I play Rick-style, too.
My Fender 12s are strung non-Rick. Depending upon how they're picked, it can be easy or more difficult to tell the difference between the Charvel and the Fender, but a Rick 12 has those pickups that are unmistakeable, especially with compression dialed in.
I recently completed a conversion of a walnut-bodied Rick 380L from 6 to 12 by making and grafting on a new headstock. This guitar has resonance to beat the band--an open-string strum will go on for what seems like 5 minutes...
Note how the Charvel headstock is virtually a dead ringer for the Rick!

Sorry for the late post on this but congrats on the new 12! Its a beauty. . .If you feel you have too many the black one looks like it would fit in my rack next to my Surf Green 12!
