I think I've exchanged emails with him as well and he seems like a nice bloke. There was some unpleasantness involving him over at the LPF if I remember correctly.

Hopefully this will answer your queries.

OKAY, in the seventies, a lot of owners had their jazzmasters and jaguars stripped and finished in a brown finish, normally referred to as "poo brown", as it was a really popular look for fender guitars in the seventies. So it doesn't really matter whose guitars these are as there are plenty of guitars just like them out there that look like these and yours but they're not the same guitar. "Poo brown" was never a standard finish option on Jazzmasters or Jaguars.
