I've been trying (without much success) to find a reasonable deal on renting a Bass VI or Baritone Jaguar for recording (South east UK -1 or 2 days). There's a place called Harris Hire who offer "1962 6 STRING BARATONE GUITAR ROSEWOOD NECK WITH TREM" for £85 a day which seems excessive to me.
Got any ideas?

If you can find a second hand baritone Jag for an okay price you could probably flip once you're done and not lose much or any money on it .. less than £85 anyway.
Distance-crunching honcho with echo unit.
