Jag knobs on a Jazzmaster?
Has anyone put jaguar knobs on their jazzmaster, and if so, got any pics?!

I've done it, looks awesome. I forgot how cool that guitar looked. It's the sunburst one.

They look a little small, didn't they make a bigger version for the jazz bass? Or is that the bigger version? Also, how did you get the set screw to work?

The jazz bass ones are the same size as usa jaguar and mustang knobs.

Okay, so then those are for something else- this same style comes in a couple different sizes, I'm pretty sure.mtotallywired wrote:The jazz bass ones are the same size as usa jaguar and mustang knobs.

Two different sizes on the Jazz Bass; IIRC the tone knob is smaller than the volume knobs. The tone knob is like the ones on Jags.

These didn't have set screws, they just slide on.noisepunk wrote:They look a little small, didn't they make a bigger version for the jazz bass? Or is that the bigger version? Also, how did you get the set screw to work?

I've been thinking about doing this for a while... I think I've been convinced to do it now. Thanks for the pic (the dressing room always lacks a little compared to pics of real guitars).

The larger Jazz Bass Volume knob (not the smaller tone knob) is the one they use on Jaguars.... well that's what my CP Jag has anyway and it's knobs look the same as every other Jag....Haddock wrote:Two different sizes on the Jazz Bass; IIRC the tone knob is smaller than the volume knobs. I'm a fan of the vintage white Jag knobs I have on my LPB JM.
